Is there any way to charge my moto razr v3 by USB without having to turn the computer on. i hate having to leave the comp on for 3 hours+ overnight. so is there any way?

no the computer's usb ports only get power when the computer is on. You can change the computer to turn off or go on standy by after so many hours of inactivity

You can charge via USB if you have a independantly powered USB HUB however.

Why do you hate leaving your computer on? I understand if it's in your room but if it's in another office then I suggest you leave it on. Turning a computer on/off is MUCH more harmful than just leaving it on.

I leave my Macs on 24/7. In fact, they perform their own maintenance early in the morning automatically.

But I wonder, would the phone charge if you just put a Mac to "sleep"?

ya my computer isin my room, and its quite old, so its reallyload andi dont like to leave it on because of that.
