Qtek 9100 GSM (UK) On Cingular?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I've been searching around, and I think I've answered my own question, but I'd just like to be sure. Is it possible for me to import a Qtek 9100 into the states and use it on the Cingular GSM network?

I believe it is, however the Qtek will need to be unlocked? (If so, is there anywhere to even get it unlocked?)

Much thanks in advanced!!

Adam

Also, would it even be worth doing this, or just waiting till the 8125 comes out for Cingular stateside?

It depends on where you bought your qtek 9100 from. If you bought it from a carrier its probably locked. If you didn't buy it from a carrier it probably isn't locked.

If its locked here is a free unlocking tool.

Look in the PocketPC forum. Theres a step by step in a bunch of threads. If anything under advanced search look for threads started by me and in keywords look up gprs issues.
