SE P800 Case / Holster

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I emailed Vaja Cases a few weeks ago about making a case for the P800. Vaja emailed me back saying they don't have any plans in the near future to design a case for this device. I'm not sure why, I would have thought the typical P800 owner would fit the profile of a Vaja customer??

Anyway, surly someone in this forum must have discovered a decent case or holster to be use with the P800.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone with a P800 tried one of the Nokia 7650 cases? The dimensions seem very close.

I was the one who posted those pictures before, but now I have found something a lot better. From the same tmoble shop had the new "sidekick" holsters.

This case works very well. The phone slides in and out very nicely. It also clips onto your belt much better. My old case used a buckle and would flop around on your belt.

This one was about $19.00 US.

as you can see a black maker took the "sidekick" off in seconds

Thanks rudedog - great pics! I will give one of those a try.

rudedog - I stopped by my local T-Mobile store today & purchased a case like yours. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the sidekick badge on the front. However, I was able to completely remove it without affecting the Velcro on the back or damaging the fabric. I used a Stanly razorblade to cut the tread holding the badge on - worked out great.

Thanks.

Thanks for the tip hdavidson. I will try that.

No problem - I will try to post a couple of pics tomorrow when i'm back in the office.

The commercial version of the P800 comes with a case as part of the package...Its just a protective bag...No place to put the strap or to hang it on your belt...

Posted by: rudedog

The pre-commercial version comes with the same useless case.

Hopefully we will start seeing some new and exciting accessories soon.
