I need help - V3 RAZR - Seem editing

I need help, I have read all the material I can find yet I can't get my V3 RAZR to connect to my computer for seem editing. Here is what I have done so far.

S/W Version: R374_G_0E.42.07R_A
Flex Version: GSMV3xxT674SP0C5
H/W Version: SJUG0161FA
Boot Loader: 08.26
Operating System: Win XP + SP2 (Tried it all on 98 and that didn't work so I upgraded)

1. Installed "mobile PhoneTools"
A. Can connect my phone
B. It charges
C. Can use all features of the package including copying files.

2. Installed "Motorola iMega Pack"
A. Nothing works, I have "Motorola V3 Modem" in the control panel that's it. When I manually install the 7 other drivers (it didn't auto detect it) that require the p2k.sys file they all say that the driver isn't working property. None of these packages work.

3. I downloaded P2kman seperatly and installed (copied) it, nothing happens.

I've downloaded drivers from reputable drive download sites, they don't work either.

I've even tried installing the mobile phone from the driver that you recieve with "P2kman.zip" it doesn't let me connect the phone either. I have followed the instructions from about three different web sites and they make it sound so easy, but this phone won't connect.

I don't believe it is the cable, because the one that I got with the phone downloads photo's from the Mobile Phone Tools without problem, (it also happens to work in the digital camera without problem).

I must be over looking something. Does anyone have any idea's?

i am not sure about the Motorla iMega Pack. I installed PST and RSD and they work fine.

What i found out is, the Pk2man and other P2k programs will not work unless i launch the RSD or PST first (and keep RSD / PST open), then launch P2k programs
