Hey guys I am just wondering.

If I do a hard reset on my Treo 650 becuase I accidently deleted lets say BLUETOOTH. Will it come back if I do a hard reset?

You can't delete BT.

In the concept of what he was talking about, if you deleted something from your Treo, that you never "installed", that it was on your phone when you got it, a hard reset should bring it back, if it was not just a preference file, or something else of the like. This should only work if you had it in your ROM. If you flashed your Treo's ROM, and didn't include the files, it should not work.

In some cases, a soft reset may bring back the supposed missing file.

Like Chillin said, you couldn't delte Bluetooth, but people have done strange things with their Treo.

I am speaking all on theory, what I have read, and common sense. I don't have any experience with this type of problem though.

A hard reset will restore you Treo to it's factory settings. This will erase all data and third party applications which are installed on to your device. Since applications in ROM can not be deleted the answer to your question is no.

Anything you are able to delete (personal data, third party apps etc.) would not be return after you did a hard reset. The only way to get them back would be to reinstall, do a restore, or a hot sync.

What DP says above is true as well. If you are somehow able to delete a preference or data file these should re-create themselves after a hard reset. Although whatever changes you made to them would not return. For example, you set your ringer to "alarm 1". Then you delete the phone data base file and hard reset. The phone data base file would recreate itself but your phoen's ringer would return to whatever the default ringer is out of the box.

And once again, my argument for the benefits of BackupBuddy VFS rears its ugly head...lol.

Hard resets are a sad fact of life for us Treo owners. BB-VFS just makes life that much easier.

WOW. Thank you my friends. I had problems with Ringo and Lightwav. I ended up purchasing Mring. It works wonderfully.

When I was deleting Ringo and Lightwav, I thought I accidently deleted an important file. I was scared.

Everything is great now. Thanks everyone.

Next time, use an uninstaller app like Destaller Lite or Uninstall manager so that you can delete programs without making the mistake of deleting the wrong files yourself manually.
