I have a jad file that I want to load.
I also have all the drivers working and I can send AT commands to the phone, upload ringtones etc.
But I cant seem to get java apps/games onto the phone.
I tried various things (at least one program reports that the SEEM edit for "java applet loader" or whatever it is is switched on but neither jarul or midway seem to be able to send any java applets to the phone. (both time out) I cant find any java settings menus anywhere either. Also, this phone does not have any memory cards or any options to switch into memcard mode so using the memcard trick mentioned for other phones wont work.
if I activate the "game.app" option on my phone then select menu then about, I see the following:
JV-Lite2
Wireless Edition 1.2
(c) 2000-2005 ACCESS CO.,LTD.
The only installed game is a nice breakout-type game called BlockBreaker, I really want something else to play so hopefully someone can tell me how to get games & apps onto this thing
If it makes a difference, this e378i is connected to Telstra in australa.

if you are using midway then i assume you are using cable and as you've asked about the java application loader i think you haven't enabled it yet or maybe it is still 'hidden' in your phone. (check your java settings it will be at the top of the list) if it is there select it and then plug in the cable
load midway (make sure com port settings are correct ... 3 or 4 usually)
load jad send
accept on phone
if it not there at the top of the list try this:
opcode to enable java uploader
Press "Menu"-key and IMMEDIATELY type 048263*
So you'll see some requests to enter data:
Opcode- enter 47 and press OK
Field1- 50
Field2- 1
Field3- 67
Field4- 1
Field5(D)- 247
After that on display will appear Results F1:0
have fun

I dont see any java settings menu anywhere on this phone.
Also, pressing menu 048263* does nothing (and I tried it many times)
I dont see a kjava folder on my phone anywhere in any of the file browsers (p2kcommander, p2kman, p2ktools etc) that I have tried to use (but I see everything else & can upload ringtones etc just fine) and using the kjava option in p2ktools just produces useless results.
