v3c: OBEX transfers

paired with my PC just fine like other BT phones I have had, but when I try to transfer mp3 ringtones from my computer to the AUDIO file, it says "FTP error-file is not empty or is 'read only'"

has anyone encountered this and know how to get around it? I was really looking forward to having OBEX on this phone as i have read that it did on the forums and am now very confused

who is you carrier, verizon? if it's verizon i think they disabled many of the bluetooth functions forcing you to get ringtones over their network...meaning you have to pay for them...

yep, Verizon...its just that I have read all over HoFo that the OBEX is fully functional and people are able to transfer mp3s with no problem...I was just wondering if i am having a problem due to settings of some sort
