Mpx220 will not turn on!

I've had it one week and so far there were no problems and now it will not turn on. I was uploading some files with activeSync and I believe the battery life was getting low and now the phone will not turn on. I connect it to the charger and it will not show charging status and will not turn on after time will leaving it connected longer enable it to be restarted. Is there a solution other than exchanging the phone?

The problem was resolved by removing SIM then restarting several times. Moderators can lock this thread now.
