help...Motorola Stereo Headset Mod

i was wondering if any1 has tried this yet, i remember someone did this to their SE headset for their K750, i wanted to cut off the 3.5mm stereo connection on the connector with the red and white bannana plugs and make a similar homemade 3.5mm adapter for my v360 and v635,i also i wanted to keep the microphone functionality if possible. any help is appreciated

I just ordered a cable from DigiKey to build a stereo interface for my E815. Here is a link to the data sheet page on DigiKeys site. http://rocky.digikey.com/scripts/Pr...V=102&M=CA-254S
I'm not 100% sure this is going to fit perfectly in the jack of my phone, but it specs and looks like just what you need. I think the price was less than $5 to boot.
