So, i'm a Uber Noob. I'll just let that go so that anyone accusing me of being an idiot, well....

Anyway, i'm trying to "mod" my phone with new ringtones/wallpapers/and anything else that is possible. However, i'm having some issues.

I have an updated version of MPT and I just got P2kCommander. I can use MPT to transfer and save all of my contact and calander info, but nothing more then that. No images, 'tones or anything else. P2kComm. will not even log on to the phone. It will connect and then promptly disconnect me after a sec. or two.

From what i've been reading Verizon has made it very difficult to accomplish the transfer of images/'tones from the computer/'net to the phone without buying them either from a Verizon site, or directly from the phone itself.

Is there a program out there that will allow us Verizon RAZR users to use their phones the their "full" potential?

Verizon is shooting themselves in the foot....

Cuz of exactly the issue you have...

Try reading the thread about MPT 4.0 beta release...

Some of the posts explain the limitations of the V3C...

i got the same problem!!! bought this phone for my wife and i cant customize it worth a squat....verizon has it locked down like an inmate on deathrow...

man.....any ideas on how to unlock some of its features????

im a noob too and dont wanna mess the phone up hacking into it

I can't believe i didn't see this. But i'm working on it right now. I FINALLY found all the programs. I'll let you guys know the outcome.
