Well, I just got a Razr today so I'm playing around with it today. I followed a tutorial and I changed the reflash, but I didn't like what it changed. It changed the icon format, positioning, etc. Which reflash could I download that would increase reception, retain AIM icons, etc.? Also, is there any sites that could show me what the end results will be after?

I used these two:

Thats exactly why you have to read before you mod...

motox.us has about the best collection....

Some of his have modded icons as you found out....

Many factors affect reception....network settings is a good place to look around....set network speed to fast and band to automatic...

42.0ER is the newest...and my reception is spot on. Flex will not improve reception (however...if you have cingular ...there may be some improvement in a flex so it doesnt fight over att/cingular towers)...
