Wallpaper Images are Black!!!

A couple pics I've uploaded onto my Mini SD are the right Pixel size (176x 188) and I put them in the My Pix Section on the Flash Card. But then I go to use them as wallpaper on my VX8100, the images are black. I checked the pix and compaired them to the other pix that came out fine and they are identical (as far as I can tell). I even saved them at BMP too. Any ideas on how to fix the pix?????
