HS850 with Razr V3: Possible to increase volume? (for the person hearing you that is)

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I just bought one, and these things are pretty expensive you know... And I found it to be a huge dissapointment. People who I talk to on it claim they hear me very far away and at a loud tone, they can still barely hear me! I feel like I just got ripped off. This was in max volume btw (but that only makes the sound louder, not the person hearing me).

Is there any possible way to fix this using some Moto editing p2k tools etc...
(btw I am a real newb on this editing stuff).

Thanks!!

If you go to www.moto.us you can read about editing your gain table to increase the volume of the headset. Click the link in my signature to get more info and to go to one of the links that have the settings.

Actually, if you do a search you will find what you need.

Editing the gain table will not only let you increase the BT volume, but will increase the gain on the microphone as well (which is what you want).

chr0n1kal_ex : choose usbmot2000.inf I beleive

www.moto.us gives me some search website.
And yeh im sorry for this, I just still can't find anything to help me with. Even with picking the driver first @_@.

Ok I think I got my phone connected. I changed earpiece gain table to 8 and I still dont see a difference. I can always hear the person fine but for them, they hear me very low. Help on this please

From the WIKI:
offset 238 bluetooth headset microphone gain (original setting: 08, recommended setting: 1B)

Try this thread... http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...53&page=1&pp=15 or go to www.motox.us and read about it there. You also need to do a search to find the programs and software you need.

I hate to say it, but that headset sucks!!!!

I bought it when it first came out for my 815...sounded like crap, person I was talking to said it sucked, and that annoying flashing blue light is just plain *** stupid.

Going to work in the morning (4:30 am) the whole right side of my truck glowed/flashed blue.

Needless to say, I returned it and have a nice bluespoon now.
