Hey! I am finished with the treo! That phone was terrible, thus, i just finished ordering a Nextel 7520. My question is this, what is the easiest way to move ones contacts to a Blackberry. I have a mac powerbook 12 inch. Also, I use the missing sync to keep them talking. Any one with a stratagy? Also, please remember: I am a Blackberry newbie. Thanks!

When you install Desktop Manager v4.1, go to intellisync and go to import. That is where you import all your Palm stuff.

Can you install that Desktop 4.1 on a mac? Also, does the intellisync work on a mac? Thanks again for the info!

You are SOL on that man, unless you get some program that essentially opens a windows area (costs about $150 for the software, can't remember the name). If you don't go that route, see if you can find a way to import/export from palm desktop to whatever you use to sync i.e. Entourage, iCal, Daylight? pink

It is not that hard if you have Outlook on your computer. You will need the CD from your Treo and elect the option for Plam to sysnc with Outlook. After syncing all of your Palm contracts, etc will be in outlook. Then set up outlook in your RIM desktop manager and sysnc your BB. All is done.

Don't listen to some of these popel who do not know what they are talking about.

READ Martins facts at the top of this foum for a wealth of information on Blackberry! Welcome aboard.

Export your Palm contacts to a .csv or .txt and import into Entourage you may need to map the feilds. Another option and easier is to export your Palm contacts to vCards .vcf (I think) and import into Address Book.app. Once you have your data moved sync with PocketMac for BlackBerry.
