Applications/Pics onto the SD Card??

I have found a way for putting pics onto my SD and viewing them through my phone. My problem is assigning the pics to a phone # for picture ID!??! I know how to assign a pic from your phone to a number but not a pic from the card without having to copy it over to the phone.

Also which file do i drop applications and put them on my SD card as opposed to taking up space on my phone?

Um, for your first question, did you try this?

For the second question...I'm trying to think of an easier way but the only thing I can think of at the moment is getting ZLauncher and using that to move the various applications from the device to the SD card. In ZLauncher, you would tap and hold on the application, then choose "Move to Card".
