Painting the Treo black?

has anyone jumped over to the Sidekick forums and seen that thread where that guy painted his SideKick II all black? it looked pretty clean well I was thinking of doing the same thing for my Treo650, I just got my phone like a month ago but I dunno, I think it would look pretty sick inblack, any suggestions? and does that void the warrenty? what about the protection plan I have with sprint?

It should void the warranty.

As for the protection plan, on VZW, the insurance covers damage, even if you do it. If that is the same for Sprint, and the level of protection you have, then you should be fine.

To know, if your insirance covers dropping in water, of dropping to the ground, and not just manufacture's defects (extended warranty), you could paint it black and be fine.

If any damage is done, you should be able to get a replacement for the fees in your package.
