SLVR flashing advice

I just received my transflash card today. i had previously flashed the SLVR with the unbranded version floating around. however after inserting the transflash, i was only able to format the card, but i wasn't able to do anything else with it. i tried taking a photo and i got an error saying can't write to disk. i tried to copy stuff to disc, and i got an error message.

before i received the card, when usb connection turned to memory, i could not access the phone through my computer. i got insert disk error; however, after inserting the transflash, i was able to access the drive, but there was nothing there.

So, what is this all about? I had to reflash (there is another flash floating around, but i could not flash it). I kept my transflash card in the phone when i flashed the phone. What would you know? The card has full features to access the disc. Also, when i go to my computer now, i can click on the removable drive and there are several folders that were created under the main mobile folder. there is also a file for the audio player database.so now you can just drag and drop mp3 files in the audio folder, videos in the video folder, etc. you do not need MPT or any other software to do this. you can then, from your phone, move around the files to phone memory.

folders and files created:
Removable disk (this is your phone's memory card
mp3 data base file
-mobile folder
audio folder
-email folder
alertfile
licenses folder
mixedmedia folder
partial folder
picture folder
temp folder
video folder
mms file

one of the features that showed up was under games and app section where i am now able to select install. despite having created several folders, there isn't a kjava folder created on the disc. so, simple enough, just create a new folder and label it kjava when you access removable drive from my computer. i then transfered .jad .jar files and was able to install from the phone rather than using the java loader and midway.
