Just recently, it has been doing a very odd sounding beep along with it when it recovers from the crash. It is a beep I have never heard before this, not low-battery or whatever. Anyways, I talked to a friend that works for Verizon and he said the V710 had this problem and is known, but he had never heard of this problem on the E815. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is a typical problem or if I should try to get a replacement phone. I have hacked the phone step-by-step to enable transfering to and from a Transflash card (Even though I dont have one) and to get it to work with MPT to transfer ringtones, but I didn't think that would be related to this problem.

If I use the one in the car...no problem...i guess I should try cleaning with the rubbing alcohol. I'm getting tired of the phone...my get a new one anyway.
