v188 connecting to pc

I just recieved a v188. I have tried to connect it to my pc but it says that i am missing some things required for installation. I have searcehd on the internet but can find nothing. Im using xp and a v188 phone.
Now it wont even ask to install anymore.And the last time i tried it it failed to install.
