How's web surfing since update?

I know the SKII had another update recently and I'm thinking about getting another one soon. I was stupid and sold my last one (about 8 months ago) to a friend and I'm missing the handy k/b and email support. The one thing I don't miss was the shoddy web interface... I remembered Danger's servers being overloaded all the time and it taking way too long to browse websites.... has it improved??

errr. i think its the same.. ive had it for a year now.. sometimes fast.. sometimes slow.. seems like whenever i let a friend use it to check email or wat not.. it takes awhile but when i use it its pretty quick.. weird..

the internet is like a snail. I give up sometimes looking for things. itsonly good for yahoo mobile and google everything else takes for ever. I can't even get on my companys intranet site it tells me errors loading. such b.s. I was using my friends crackberry from nextel last night and let me tell you the loading was instant, no wait like the SK2. made me jealous so much. the internet is a real downside to a other wise useful device.

I agree. The web browser is still slow most of the time.

It slows down the device when it goes into "Run Script" mode... everything lags like a computer would.

It's not that slow with javascript off. I think it's almost like 56K on a lot of sites I go on.

i say its the same too but for me i think its not bad, i disabled the pics anyways so i dont worry about loading all that extra stuff that i dont need.

I can't just turn off all the stuff you guys turn off. I look at pics alot and I lvoe the java. Just its really slow. PLus whats withte error loading page popup???

depends on the inet traffic from what i hear.....from personal experience it kinda fast early in the am (when most cats are sleep)....gets slower as the day progresses....

it is true at 6:30 am on my way to school i am reading my wall street journal online without any problems but as I am speaking right now the net is so slow that its not worth it sometimes to even use it during the day unless you got loads of time to kill.

Well I wouldn't know how it was befoore I've had a sidekick since october of lasrt year. But when I use my friends nextel BB I shake my head in defeat as his internet kills mine

ive had my kick for like 2 years the internet is so much better i can browse myspace like nothing i dont know ...i mean like the mda with edge is way faster but the sk is pretty good i think def better than before
