Hey everyone...newbie question. What's the easiest way to export your blackberry contacts? I own a bb 7290 and I want to be able to import these contacts to an hp rx1950. Would I need a PC as a median? Thanks everyone.

Do you have Outlook on a computer? If so both these devices will sync to Outlook

Yes, I do have Outlook on my computer. Do I just plug the BB into my laptop and open up Outlook and then import contacts from the device?

Download the desktop manager for syncing your BlackBerry with your PC, the rest is straight forwad. Kindly search next time as there is a tone of info posted on this topic.

Sorry, but I did do a search prior to posting this thread. Either my search was too specific (and found nothing), or too vague. My apologizes.

You will need to load the Desktop manager software onto your computer that came with your Blackberry. After doing so, follow the instructions in this software to "sync" your Blackberry with Outlook. It is easy to set up.

After you get all your info into Outlook from your Blackberry, you will need to load your software from your HP handheld and it will, after you get it set up, sync your HP handheld with Outlook moving all the contacts from Outlook to your HP.

Thanks, Greg for the advice. I will try this when I get home. Much appreciated!
