Here's what I got;
1) Purchased Virgin Mobile Kyocera KE433 pay-as-go phone for daughter
2) I have an account with Cricket and recently lost cell phone
3) Plan for daughter was bad so got her a new cricket phone and account
4) The virgin mobile phone I have I now want to use as my phone on my cricket account since its virtually new.
5) Got the unlock code from another thread and have changed the NAMI
6) Cricket tells me I will need to flash the phone but they don't do this so find a wireless dealer who does and be prepared to pay $40 -$80.
7) Have seen some threads that said you can't change a virgin mobile and othes that you could.
8) Cricket carries a host of Kyocera models but not this particular one (if that even matters at all)

What exactly does 'flashing' a phone mean? Can I do this myself or do I need to take it somewhere? Can this phone be flashed or not? Are there any other steps that need be done?
Appreciate some clarity on the subject matter!
