Have any of you experienced that if you try to make a call as soon as you hang up, it just says calling...Even if I let it carry on calling it will just go on and on, without connecting...The only way I can solve this is by turning my phone off and then back on again...

nope mine works fine

Mine's fine, too -- sounds like one of those corruptions that you may have to do a master reset to fix. Do a backup first, though !!

I get an error with the redial. This has happened with every version of FW that I have had. The redial says that it is redialing but never does it. It just says redialling now. The P800 doesn't freeze up and I just need to move to another application to get out. Basically the P800 only asks you if you want to redial if halfway through connecting, you are disconnected from the network. I ran this test multiple times and the phone never redialed. It just gave me the redialing screen.

My redial works great Alex. It has a preset time for the redial, though. Example, you call & number is busy, P800 prompts you if you would like to redial, you answer yes and the redial screen appears. Now it looks as though it is redialing but nothing is happening. About a minute into it, it will actually redial and your phone will "ring" once to let you know it got through. I have used this feature extensively when trying to call my local "Bookie" for placing wagers. The phone has actually sat for over 10 minutes while trying to get through before it is successful. Just my experience.

I'm probably too impatient then. I'll try waiting for it next time. I normally switch apps if nothing happens within 5-10 secs.

As a matter of fact, I think you should time it Alex, that way when you update your review you can add this little token of info for everyone. I too thought it was not operating properly, then while driving I used it and it kind of just lay there in the seat while I got my mind on driving. After a few minutes the phone rang once, I picked it up and realized it had redialed! I believe the redial takes place around 45 seconds to one minute.

i just tried it, and the redial went thru in about 7 seconds, SE must know us new yorkers arent to patient

Interesting Stan, I wonder if the P800 somehow progressively dials? Dialing in increments of time until it gets through?

I'll see if my problem persists and since its under warranty I'll just go get a new one from the agent here...

About redialing, it first takes a few seconds and if its busy it'll keep trying but it increases its time after each try...
