For some reason I can't send files from my iMac G5 to my SLVR. It recognizes the phone, but it is unable to validate the device. Anybody know what the problem is???

im having the same problem... did you flash the phone with the retail german thing?

Yeah, did you use the same flash? Its weird, because I can send files to my Mac from the phone, but not to the phone from the Mac.

its the flash.... mine worked fine before the flash

Yeah mine too. Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait for another one to come out.

Just got the SLVR L7 (cingular) today - no problems with iSync at all.

I did the following:

- Under the Mac OS Bluetooth settings chose "Setup Bluetooth Device"
- Put the phone in "Find Me" mode right away.
- Mac OS give ms a pass key, i enter it in the phone.
- Started up iSync, chose "Ad Device" and it added the phone.
- Sync'd as usual.

I'm using a PowerBook G4 (Oct 2005 Rev) with Mac OS 10.4.4, all recent OS patches applied.

we are talking about slvr that was unbranded not the cingular branded ones... NEVER

There seems to be a problem with the Bluetooth portion of the German firmware. The only solution I've read of, is to flash with the US firmware. I haven't tried it yet, since I can sync with iSync just fine with the USB cable.
