How do I set up my Gmail? I don't think I can set up an AOL mail account.

How do I play MP3 songs and MP3 ringtones? ...I just bought a $20 SD card.

gmail: http://www.snappermail.com/support/isp.cfm#82 for some guidance.
AOL: http://www.snappermail.com/support/isp.cfm#77
mp3 songs: put the mps in a folder called audio on the sd card.
mp3 ringtone: u need a third party app.

Had no luck with that how so? As in couldn't get them into the folder? Or got them into the folder but they didn't play? What program are you using to play them?

To listen to MP3s:
1) Download and install TCPMP on Treo
2) Put MP3s in folder "Audio" on SD card (optional, I just say it for oganization reasons )
3) In TCPMP: Menu > Open Files > select the songs on your SD card.
4) Enjoy .

If TCPMP doesn't play MP3s (I'm sure it does, but just in case), go ahead and get a program called PocketTunes.

To have MP3 ringtones:
1) Buy and install program called Ringo. (there may be other programs, but that's what I use)
2) Put MP3 ringtone on SD card
3) In Ringo, select the MP3 to be a ringtone.

first, you wont see the mp3 using that option.

second, this might still be available. register the treo on the palm website and they will give you two options of free sometware. one of them is ptunes. it is an old version, but work for playing mp3s.

Ringo

I downloaded it onto my phone and it works well, but its only a 7 day trial period. If I want it longer I have to pay...

I tried that, but these setttings don't match exactly.

Can someone tell me what to put for a treo 600 so I can read my AOL email.

Then later we can go more into playing Mp3s.

I just finished HotSyncing the treo.

thanks for all the help!!!

anyone know of a FULL FREE mp3 ringtone program?

Posted by: Choop!

There is none. That's the price you pay for one of the Treo's big flaws. And as for the mp3 e-mail question...download a FREE program called Filez, which will allow you to create an "audio" folder on your card and let you associate .mp3 files with that folder. Just google "Filez +download" and you should find it easily.

I finally figured out how to use TCMP, it's not a trial right?

I just bought the $20 download from aol.com. Now I can use AOL IM and mail form my treo 600. Why didn't anyone recomend this before? It's the easiest way.
