Hey guys,

I am in need of two to three wap testers for my new wap site to download games for the 903SH and 902SH. I"ve accumulated a ton of games and I'm gonna start providing them via wap for the community. So if you have some wap bandwidth you can spare for some testing and such. Please pm and I will contact you.

its almost done. i haven't hooked up to the games to the pages yet. thats all.

im thinking of putting up downloading wallpapers and mp3 ringtones (Drm protected)? or non drm protected.. i'm not sure.. i'm not sure how legal that will be either.. any lawyers in the forum?

maybe i'll just host some aac ringtones.. or some mmf ones instead taht the community provides.

i also updated the accessories page.. for any of you that actually care about 903sh accessories..

Tim you'll probably be fine with wallpapers, but I think if you put up ringtones or games, at some point you will get in trouble and have to take them down, or worse. That's why most sites with free games vanish within weeks (if lucky months) of having put them up.

Remember, if you normally have to pay for something to buy it legally from the content provider, you usually aren't allowed legally to put it up yourself for free. That's what copyright and DRM and all that annoying stuff is about

well i wasn't sure how grey the grey zone is in terms of hosting files and such. but... i'd already be in trouble anyways with or without the logo if so. cause its on my domain. i think its purtier with a logo tho.

definitely not in japan lol. do you like that phone? it rocks. i like it!

if i get in trouble for posting up free games.. i guess i could put a sign saying.. 1 cent games.

Which model is it? Can't really tell by only looking at the screen, plus it's dark... :S

Looks very nice and because its one of AU's 3G phones I am hoping that Tim has figured out a way to make use of its EV-DO outside of Japan. If you have Tim then let me know cause that is one major score if you have.

Not really interested on the phone though (the cam is only 1.28MP, right?), but just wanna know how can you make it work outside JP?

oh yeah. definitley in testing. i've bene working on the main site this past weekend.. updating products.. accessories.. the contact page.. adding a misc page.. i got hold of some wholesale cameras.. game consoles and handhelds.

i'll work on the wap site today (it s3 am now). gonna try to figure out some wallpapers... some games.. and maybe i'll put a few mmfs... but taht might not go so well.

Anyone know how to convert games that are in HUF format back to .jar or .jad?

I think .HUF format is a DRM format of .jar, .jad, and .mmf
So, I don't think that you can convert it back...
Once, I downloaded a ringtone from Voda JP, it has HUF format... if you copy the file, the copied file wouldn't play...

yah.. i realized that now too.. sigh.. good thing toan saved his 902sh games that we had found way back in june last year. i deleted mine thinking. lalala.. never come in handy.. anyways. wap site is almost done.

By the way, has anybody ran a diff compare on the same game in JAR and a HUF (same game), you can probably compare the bytes and find out what exactly a HUF is composed to be reproduced?
