I have tried agile, Verichat, and IM+ and they all work but disconnect without telling you especially when running in the background. Like with agile it will show me online and I will be online with my PC but the messages are not sent or received. This seems worse when I go out to the home screen. These apps run poorly in the background. Looks like I will have to return this and stick with my Blackberry 8700c as it is much more reliable.

Sounds like you need an alt-tab like program like xbar.
I havent used the 2125, but xbar on my mpx220 solved that problem.

Yea to bad there is not a instant messanger that works well with this phone or I would keep it.

This is weird. I use IM+ and the built-in Messenger for instant messaging. No problems on either of them. Agile runs in post stamp mode, so I can't see myself using it.

Does your IM+ run in the background? Do you have any problems with disconnecting?

how is the UI on IM+? I have been very disappointed with the lack of IM apps available for WM5, as when I had my 5600 i ALWAYS had agile open in the background.
