SP5 - Time delay in AS when synch w/bluetooth

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem.
When I synch my SP5 via the USB cable, as soon as I plug it in ActiveSynch opens up on my computer and immediately synchs the SP5. When I connect via Bluetooth the ActiveSynch app opens on my computer but there is a delay of around 3-5 minutes before it actually begins synching the SP5 with my computer.
Is there some setting I am missing that causes this delay...I have looked and found nothing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Is anyone who synchs with AS via bluetooth experiencing this delay or does it immediately start synching just as it does via USB cable?
