I have owned my audiovox 5600 for some time now. I used to own a SE T637. I sed a Bluetrek G2 with it. When I switched to the Audiovox I had problems with my G2 headset. Specifically, outgoing sound would mute. I thought it was the G2 but now I think it is a compatability issue between the G@ and the 5600. Anyone know where I can get a find a list of BT headsets that are compatable with the 5600? I really miss using my G2. I have been able to check some compatable headsets online and looks like the Bluetrek and Plantronics BT headsets are not comptable with the 5600. Jabra's compatability search engine doesnt work right now. Please some help would be great!

I've used a Gold Lantern G-Lite, and mostly use a Motorola HS810 with mine.

I just got a 5600 and am trying to connect with my existing HS815.

Can't get the BT headset to be seen. I looked through the 5600 manual, but nothing about headsets. Any ideas?

I've tried setting the 5600 to Discover and on but it never sees the 815 which is supposed to be compatible.

I use an 805 with mine. It discovered it quite easily. Security code, by default, was 0000.

Same for my Plantronics 2500.

Silly question -- have you tried pushing the buttons to activate the pairing protocol? On mine, it's both volume buttons pressed simultaneously, if I remember correctly.

I found where i needed to add the device.

Put the HS815 into Pairing by holding the button (a couple seconds) until headset comes on and LED stays lit.

Then on 5600, Start/ settings/ bluetooth/ bluetooth/ Set to discoverable/ then MENU / DEVICEs /MENU / NEW

Works like a charm.
