P800 is lack of this!

P800 does not has a function to abjust the brightness of the screen? ANy p800 user found the screen too bright or too dim at times..

ANyone able to use a 3rd part app. to solve this prob??

That is an excellent point. The P800 is normally too bright at night where it attracts a lot of attention. Also during the day, it may be too dim if it is viewed in a semi-dark room. Hopefully the successor will have an ambient light sensor like the iPAQ series. Personally, I like having the screen at the brightness set by SEMC. As of yet, there are no 3rd party apps to do this but there may be one coming.

cant believe SE can miss that common function out.. even my jornada has this function of adjusting the screen brightness automatic thru a light senser, critical part in power conservation
Hope a 3rd party app comes out soon..
