I have a client who happens to be a mortgage broker. She had the data cable for her LG 4600, and I just upgraded her to a blackberry 7250. Now I just called Telus's "Advanced Data Department" and they said that the blackberry is capable but telus does not support it. Does anyone know of a cable or, better yet how to use the bluetooth on the device as a modem.

The customers laptop does not have bluetooth, but she is willing to have bluetooth installed into her laptop. this may be a little off topic, but does anyone know if this will enable the pc to connect to the internet, or just act as a data transfer aplication.

umm FYI blackberry bluetooth is restricted to HANDSFREE use only... except for the 8700 series... but thats not the device in question.

so using the BB as a modem over bluetooth just wont happen ..( through my knowledge& experience i havent seen it happen through bluetooth)

Its a minor detail, but any bb devices running handheld os 4.1 can sync using bt, not just the 8700 series. Regardless, as you already stated, you wouldn't be able to use BT for a data connection....
