Motorola V3 RAZR Bluetooth Problem

Hey everyone

I just bought a RAZR V3 today in black. Im pleased with the phone as of yet, except of a problem with the bluetooth. This bieng my first bluetooth phone as of yet, im still new to it, but i dont think it is working as it should.

I have no problem receiving things through bluetooth from other devices, but my RAZR V3 refuses to find devices. I have followed the instructions given, i go to Bluetooth > Setup > Bluetooth ON, then i go to Hands-free and select [Search devices], and nothing comes up. I tried to connect my bluetooth ear peice to it before, and it did not find it when i searched for it when the earpeice was on. It also couldn't find my friends device even though he had it on too. Can anyone direct me as to solve this. Maybe im doing something wrong? Or should i take it back to the shop?

is your bluetooth device on your computer turned on or the service turned on??

Read the manual for the bluetooth headsets.
Usually the headset needs to be set to seeking/pairing mode before another device can detect it.

Link doesnt work Wes. The headset is a Motorola 820 if that helps. Ive followed the instructions for pairing it with the phone, but it still wont find it

I didn't post any links. That is the lame@$$ Intellitext advertising "feature"
You need to read the 820 manual.
Normally, you need to press and hold in one or more buttons on the headset to allow it to transmit to the phone. (the HS820 requires you to hold down two buttons IIRC)
Then your phone will find the headset when it is searching for new bluetooth devices.

actually on mine u juss hold tha answer or tha pickup button until tha light flashes 3 times den it will stay blue then u have to go to your phone and press find me and there you go
