MP3 ringtones onto LG VX6100

Can the LG VX6100 play mp3 ringtones? If so, does anybody know how to do it through bitpim and a data cable? I got the phone to connect to bitpim, and I added the ringtone, but it didn't show up. I know that on the LG8100, after you add the ringtone, you have to delete 2 files in the filesystem. Is this the same on the 6100?

Yes the vx6100 can play mp3's. You dont have to delete anything for the ringtones to show up. Did you click Data - Send Phone Data - Check the Box Next to Ringtone and click OK?

Also once they are sent to the phone, they will show up in the menu under media (button 7) and inside there under sounds ( #2 )....at least thats where mine go on my 6100......
