On the audiovox 8910 the keypad LEDs are: SMT 0603

I would like to figure out which led (the light when charging and when first turning on) is...well... i know that it is a Bi-Color SMT...i just dont know the size!!!

If anyone knows please give me the info!! maybe a link or 2...thanks

Replacing the keypad LEDs looks like some fine soldering work. Have you done it?

I've always wanted blue instead of green, myself.

As for the power LED, if you find out what it is, let us know the other color options too. (Red/Green=blech

)

Desoldering the power LED is gonna be a true biotch...soldering it will be worse!!! The SMDs on the keypad are a piece of cake...just take your time!

Keypad SMDs= 0603 SMT
Power/charge LED = UNKNOWN Bi-color SMT

Cold heat soldering iron = Teh roxorz!! The 2 prongs are the perfect width to desolder/solder the power led...there are 4 individual solder points on it...not 2...so this will be a true challenge!!!
