V551 wont ring anymore

ok, my v551 all of a sudden will not ring anymore, so i did some searching and found out the problem, so i d/l'ed bezols p2k tools got it all connected and went by intruction on how to fix it by deleting the 2 db files. Well apparently that doesnt fix the problem, I restart the phone and the files come back and the phone still will not ring with sound. Any help would be great, because its driving me crazy lol.

have you done any moding to it??
if you ahve maybe try a Monster Pack or Reflash And Flex, i had this tyupe of problem with my v3, until it died!

sure its not in silent mode?
can you play sounds from the media libery (multimedia>sounds)?

lol speaker is great, i can play all my mp3's and sounds all work, but they will not work as ringers, in fact if i go to the sound detail area, it wont even let me in on the phone.

try setting the phone to silent, then connect to p2ktools, delete the 2 .db files and then restart your phone. I remember seeing this suggestion a few times previously.

My V551 started doing that today also. It rings vibe only, none of the others work, I can play ringtones, get sound on startup/shutdown, etc... Speakerphone works.
Just no audible ring.

Actually I did a master clear and restored my phone book, Rings fine now...
