UT 6700 Connection failed ( need Help ) !!!

Hi bought 19 Audiovox 6700 in december. After a CellPhone change, they don't connect to the network and give me an error 3 : network rejected. and they give an error 37 : bad ip.
Telus tell me that I have to change the handset. Is it true ?
Do you know an update that can resolve the problem ?
