Mac Users with Cingular 2125

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hello,

I recently acquired the Cingular 2125 and am looking for ways of exchanging files/contact/etc. with the 2125. Has anyone found a good way to do this? I know Mark/Space is working on WM5 support, but it is not there yet.

In the mean time, what is the best way to get contacts, events, etc. onto the phone from the standard Mac Apps (iCal, AddressBook, etc.)? I have bluetooth on my powerbook and have been using it with a Razor (and V551 before that)

Also, any other Mac/2125 tips would be wonderful.

I, too, am interested in this. I'm currently a Windows user, but with the recent anouncement of the MacBook Pro, I'll probably be doing the big switch within the next 3-6 months.

I will be getting a MacBook Pro next month, so I am interested in this for sure.

But the best place for this question would be the Pocket PC forum here.

Also check out this Mac section of their Pocket PC Wiki for more sync programs:

I'm not positive, but there's a sync app for winmo phones.

I think it's the missingsync, but google windows mobile mac os x sync and you should find something.

There's PocketMac too, it's doesn't have WM5 support yet either.

I don't know about the contacts (don't think iSync is updated yet for the 2125), but to send and receive files you should be able to just pair the computer and phone and then you should be fine. I have had no probs with my iBook and my W600i or former T637.

When I pair the phone and the powerbook - I get a "device does not have the necessary services" error. I can pair fine, just can't browse. I can browse my v551 and Razor just fine.

Microchip13: yes, it is called the MissingSync - and it's made by Mark/Space, which is where my link in the original post goes. The problem is they have not yet released their update to support WindowsMobile 5... I was hoping to get some "workarounds" until they released their update
