Hi all... Maybe someone can help me since neither the phone manual nor the car manual helped.

I would like to transfer my phonebook from the e815 to the navigation system. On the navigation it says Begin Transfer Now - How do I do that is my question? I looked through the phone and nothing came up. Thanks for any help.

First off, OBEX is disabled on verizon's version of the e815. Even if you enable that by hacking the phone, the object push still won't work. With this phone you won't be able to send your phonebook to your car kit.

So the answer and lesson is... I called the car manufact and they said that only certain phones and providers will be able to work appropriately with the Navi.. And in my case, it is Cingular with the option of only Razr and 3 other phones. Of course, I have Verizon and the e815 which works, but with limited features... It would've been nice to be told this by the dealer! Lesson learned.

I purchased a Motorola e815 recently and out of 10 tries only 1 or 2 times successfully bonds with BMW Assist in my car. Most of the times on the phone screen the message is that "bluetooth disconnected or busy" although that in setup power is on. Anybody having this kind of problem or any help please?

When was the last time you power cycled the phone? (turned off and on)
