Treo time question

Ok, I asked this question in the cingular forum with no definite answer.

On my Treo 650 you have a choice to enable network time if available. Does Cingular provide this service? Because my Treo clock always runs behind (2-3 minute slow). Does anyone else has this problem?
Many thanks.

Every time I enable that feature, my time is always wrong. In the end, I left it unchecked.

No problem. For a long time, I just couldn't figure out why the time was always wrong. After searching through several forums, I discovered it was because of that feature. They say the best thing to do when that happens is to call the provider and inform them of the error, but I can't be bothered. Let them deal with that.

Well...If you install TreoAlarm and select sync time, it syncs both the TreoAlarm clock and the system clock to the atomic clock

I did that already with a different program. I was just referring to when I just got the phone.
