903 Accessories in Markham/Toronto

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I made the wise/unwise decision to buy a BLACK 903. Wise because I love the way it looks. Unwise because the little scratches are starting to show already.

Does anyone know where I can get a protective case for the 903? I have seen some silicon covers on eBay but a lot of people say they are crap.

Is there are store I can walk into to a see some 903 accessories?

Thanks FBI114...I have tried emailing timstas a few times in the recent past but have never heard back from them

I was wondering if anyone in the Markham and Toronto area know of any stores that sell 903 accessories. I really need a cover for the phone but want to be able to see it first...I heard some of the ones they sell online are worthless.

^^^ i am on the same boat as u r m8... it is really hard to find a perfect match for the 903!! since they r made in Japan (a very less exporting country) it makes it even more tougher to find 1..

if u r soo keen in protecting it, i would suggest the pouches.. i have the 1 that i got from my 910.. SE pouches for the 710, 910 would do

apart form that... i guess there isn’t really ny thing!!

You can get the silicon covers at Pacific Mall. The Communication store sells them for 15 bucks.

i had one client.. who had so much dangly stuff on her phone.. that it pulled the phone out of her pocket into the toilet.. poor 7610. she brought it to me to fix. i wouldn' touch it.

The Orginal Glass on The 903 case is scratch-resistance glass, i had been advide to NOT put on the camara protector on, cause it will make it easier to be scratched,

I went by Communications Store today in Pacific Mall and picked me up the silicon protector for my 903. Comes with 2 pieces and slides on each side like a skin for an iPod. Comes with all the necessary holes for screen, keypad, infrared, camera, flash, slots and speakers. Now my 903 is a lot tougher.

I also bought some screen protector film and a car charger...all the above for $35.

Word of warning - my fat fingers fumbled the screen film and I got finger prints all over the adhesive side which do not come off. Looks like I need to buy another one. I won't have any coffee before I attempt this again

^oh man that happened to me too, well actually some 'dust' particles were trapped inside on the side, not as obvious, but i'm just picky.. DAMMIT i should've picked up a silicon protector cuz i dropped my phone today while i was changing pants and now there's this dent on the silver part, it's not obvious unless u look closely.. but still.. that darn silicon protector would've protected it.. lol.. can u post a pic and do they have different colors for it?? does it make the phone bigger???

Posted by: Evo_jai

it would make the phone a bit bigger , iyz sillcone, if it dun have sum thickness, then how it can absorbs vibration or shocks, and protect ur phone

I did this too but I fixed it... it's not exactly adhesive... its not sticky right? Seems like some sort of... static that helps it stick onto the screen.

This is what you need:

Find some tape thats strong but not strong to the point you can't remove it easily. I used Hockey Tape which was perfect.

Also some sort of microfibre cloth and lens cleaning fluid, I used special lens cleaning cloth that comes in little packages like wet tissues.

This is what you do:

1) Carefully remove the screen protector and put lay it down with the adhesive side facing up.

2) Clean the adhesive side and the screen of your phone with your microfibre cloth and lens cleaning solution.

3) You'll notice a lot of dust got caught up, don't worry, as long as all the oil from your fingers are gone, it'll be fine. Now put tape over the whole screen of your phone AND the screen protector.

4) Remove the tape off the screen, the dust should be all gone now.

5) Use your nails to lift the screen protector off the tape. Then use the side of the film so you don't get it dirty again. ONLY lift 1/3 of the screen protector off the tape.

5) With the exposed adhesive backing part of the screen protector, line it up against your screen and tap on it so it sticks a little. Then remove the rest of the tape and smooth out the screen protector in case of any air bubbles. Be very careful not to ever touch the adhesive or the screen itself, or you'll ruin a good 10 minutes worth of work.

You're done! Sure the process was tedious but now people can't tell you have a screen protector on, definitely worth it!
