Motorola SLVR GPRS question

IM currently using T-mobile as my cellular provider, i pay the monthly fee for internet, but once i recieved my new SLVR from germany, i cannot access the internet option of the phone. YES I KNOW IM A NEWB, but if anyone would help me out, i would greatly appreciate it.
