Can it be reassign? if you're not sure which button im referring to its the silver button on the right side of the phone.

do you have the Vodafone model? are you referring about the Live! key. try doing the soft key seem edit or flash it with the german retail MP found on gocellular.org

i believe my version is an unbranded one it does not seem to display Vodaphone anywhere.

You can change it, but need to use a modding tool. I think it's called P2Kmenu tool or something like that. Check over at motomodders site. It worked for mine.

it's p2kmenu editor. go to Tools > phone key map editor > open SEEM > open from Phone.

you can then assign what you want for each button.

since the L7 has a different format than the other phones the other functions of the menu editor do not work. there is one other thing you can use in p2k menu editor, and that is the hidden menu items under Tools. you can select a couple more options.

that's really weird. I haven't encountered any problems like that one before. is it set default to launch a browser?

the german version is set to launch browser

is there any way to transpose the select and cancel keys on the german flash? I've just flashed it to my slvr and the select button is now on the left, rather than the right, not the end of the world just a pain to relearn the phone!

I was mistaken when I originally read the first post. my right SIDE key is set to launch the browser as well. But when I had it to the original software whether it was TIM or Vodafone it did the same.

it's a seem edit 0032_0001, offset 89 bit 5. if you want it reversed, just check or uncheck the bit.

no, i think that is the standard voda branded phone. should have kept it, because it has the motomixer from what the website states.

where would i find the vodaphone branding on the phone.. when it boots it loads original motorola start up.

that worked a treat!!

I'm just trying to get it to display "My Number" when it starts up now, I had it working once but it seems to have gone wrong!

I've set offset 00 bit 7 in seem 0126_0001 to 0 and offset 04 bit 5 in seem 0126_0001 to 1, then set offset 48 bit 1 in seem 0032_0001 to 1. It flashed up when I restarted the phone but now I've disabled the "show no service" item, it's stopped working
