How do I get the networking setup so I can use my email and browser(s)? I do subscribe to the service, and I have had no problem with every Smartphone I have had. It says data connection refused the first time I turned it on.

You need to subscribe to a Blackberry Data plan. Without it, all you have is a phone.
If you already have a data plan, then you should automatically see a Web Browser icon that is setup for T-Zones.

Hmmm.

I have the 7290 (newbie here) for T-mobile and I have been using the tzone with my Razr (just switched to the 7290) but haven't figured out a way to browse emails with the BB either. I guess I have to fork out a few extra bucks a month in order to get email excess. Will I get acess to websites or is it just WAPs for me?

thx-

I have an 8700C on T-mo and it auto configured the t-zones. You apparently must go with the $19/mo BB plan as an add-on. If you want the Blackberry Enterprise Server - then it's $29/mo.

There is no way around the use of a Blackberry Plan. Many have tried. For those who failed it was eBay all the way to unload their "lousy" devices....
