you've never heard of the phrase "B2B" or "Business to Business"?

it's not just used for cingular; its a basic type of business sales/marketing.

I think he means he hasn't heard about anything regarding b2b at the store level.

Sorry for butting in here, but Sprint does it. It's too bad they sent me a rep that didn't know what she was talking about. But if they are DO IT! and don't think twice. If you are personable and know your stuff some of those customers are big. Yes not the one and two's but many. Imagine a company like mine with over twenty NEW PTT lines.

I just finished having lunch today from a suite at a hockey arena networking with 400 small business owners and the food was real good! PM me if you need some help

As always, you sir are correct.

I had a meeting yesterday with a potential customer for ~35 PTT lines

Are there no real b2b reps your areas? Or do you think they are looking to cut back on the number of b2b reps?

Posted by: CingularZ

It is my understanding that there is NO B2B specialist in any stores, but perhaps they have been pushing to make sure all stores have someone who can sell B2B

You guys need to be more specific in what you say, there is a DIRECT channel that has AE's that target B2B, this is not the same as corporate/indirect/premier retail sales reps.

Cingular wants small business (0-50 lines) done at retail. IF the customer is doing more than 50 lines then cingular b2b has to take that over

Posted by: Alfred_Neuman

cor stores can do upto 50 lines for a business.

usually when we do it, we keep it for ourselves even if it adds up to like 80 heh.

my coworker was lucky. some guy came in and got 18 lines in one day, just sim cards/phone numbers. lol. since then, it grew.
