I didn't know if this had already been posted, but if you have an older version of MPT (I am running 2.16 I think) select new phone and follow the instructions. When it finds your phone but can't recognize the device it asks you to select from a list. I selected the V600, and I can still go into the Media Manager and successfully transfer ringtones. I haven't had any problems with this. Any feedback on if this works for you or if there is a better idea?

The v3 fully supports the multimedia center so even if you upgrade to version 4, you can still transfer files. No limitations. You must be used to the way Verizon did business
Oh you may have random disconnects or other weird bugs every now and then because when MPT thinks its the V600 or another phone, the commands may be a little different. And u may have driver problems (phone not installed as a modem all the time) becuase of the older version of MPT you have.

Good to know, would I just have to run live update on MPT to get that version? And yes I was used to the way Verizon had run things. I have been with T-Mobile for a year and have been extremely pleased with them. Just got off the run with the V300. Thanks for the info!

Yeah T-Mobile is great! So you know, the liveupdate won't go all the way to version 4 if you have win98 or winME (these OS's are no longer supported).
