I recently bought a USB cable for my LG VX8100 and i connected it, installed the driver and yet nothing happens. I have no clue where to go from here. Somebody help me. Thanks

I'm having the same issue, I have BitPim 8.05 and set the thing to my phone (VX8100) and the phone shows up in the com settings, I select that, and hit detect phone but no dice... I checked the phone settings USB port is enabled and PC connection is on.. any help? Thanks
