Treo 650 Verizon DUN Dial Up Networking

help guys,
i did the btmanager update, clicked on "enable dun", paired with my Powerbook 10.4, but whenever i try and connect (with all the right login info), i get an error message "A modem error occurred. Please verify your settings and try again."
the "bluetooth progress windows up and it says connecting in progress but it just cancels out and give sme the modem error.. i'm using the sprint pcs modem driver..
i do have missing sync and have disabled the bluetooth transfer by selecrting "cradle/serial".. any ideas?
