Mobile Phone Tools Question?

Hello everyone, This is my first post here but I've been lurking around and reading for a few weeks now and I can't find the answer to this question anywhere.
I know you can use MPT to make a call, "Call a contact", but can you use a microphone and headphones, connected to your computer, to speak and hear whats coming out of the phone?
I havent been able to make it work but it seems like it wouldnt be hard to do.
Anyway, Thanks in advance and hopefully I can figure this out.
