I've sold both an 8600 and 8900 on eBay. I would like to remove the old phone numbers from the phones........

I've searched the forum, with no luck.....

When starting up the phones, the phone number displays briefly. How can I remove that number - meaning, have no phone number assigned to the phone whatsoever?

I've got everything else removed from these phones; call lists, text messages, etc. Now I just want to "unassign" my old phone numbers (which have been transferred to new phones already) from these old units. They are Verizon phones, if that matters.

Please help - I've got to ship these puppies out!
