Hey all. I just received my Siemens S55 from Adam

So far, all I can say is WOWZA! Everyone seems to be complaining about the screen or something - it is FINE

Much better than the T68i and T300

I am at work right now, so I can't really play with the phone. When I get home tonight I will take pics and post em on the board

I have been playing with the phone for a few hours, and all I have to say is W O W ! ! ! ! This is probably the coolest phone I have ever had, hands down - The battery life ROCKS, even after downloading pics from Esato.com, ringtones from Mat rixM.com, sending like 50 MMS pics (for real!!) - So everyone knows - the flash MAKES or BREAKS a camera phone

The flash helps so much!!! I will take some pics and post em - for everyone who has T-Mobile - the settings posted on the Siemens forum TOTALLY WORK

I have GPRS and everything - no problems - The phone is KILLER!!! I had totally simple syncing with my Jabra FREESPEAK headset and this phone - BT works like a charm and even supports the Voice Activated Dialing feature

yay! JAVA is totally easy to use and download applications - my only wonder is - - - anyone know any cool Java sites I can get games from

This phone is TEENY TINY, but not small enough where I'm going to break it - MUCH more solid than the T68i PLUS the screen is very very good

WOOHOO! I'll have a review up within the week for those interested

!!!! I ordered one from lvwirelss yesterday and expect it tommorow. I am really excited to bash my t68i into a million pieces!!!! I really hope I don't have any problems with the bluespoon.

Hey guys, not that i wouldnt mind buying from adam, lvwireless, but esato.com has it cheaper, is it because they are based in the UK? Its almost 100$ cheaper.......Should i buy it from them? Why are they cheaper? Congrats burbboy! Hope you like it!

How loud are the ringtones and speaker?

I heard somewhere that the Expansys s55's lacked the camera and data cable. I may be wrong though. In reality though I would rather spend the extra cash and get it from someone in America. Call me nationalistic

How did you do that? Matrixm.com doesn't support any Siemens phone.

I dont think thats true, it says right on the expansys site that it comes with the camera, and by the way, does the s55 (from any dealer) come with a data cable? What about desktop charger and case/holster? thanks!

I currently use a t68i, which is also has a 256 color screen, but has trouble displaying skin tones, or pictures of people.
Is the siemens' screen any better at doing this?

Much actually. I beamed all my old pics on my T300 to my Siemens S55 and the pics of my friends for photo caller id, for example, look A LOT better. Not perfect, but a lot better

Much smoother and less "grainy"

u cant even compare with the cam from the s55.

Actually, I got quite a few nice pics out of the MCA-25. However, keep in mind, there had to be perfect lighting while standing on one foot, hopping in place with the camera at just the right angle....hee hee
